MY FRIENDS(old ones and new ones... i can't begin to think how many times they've pulled me out of an emotional rut), friday night frisbee, physics class jokes (because we didn't understand what was going on), the hot pink 3 inch stilettos, ultiamte frisbee tournaments (most esp. southerns), creative/homework sessions with Elliot-san, Jeff's Bucket Shop (when not too often ), that once in a while coffee/Vanilla coke, NAKED JUICE! (and its ensuing addiction), watching William B. the forth beat a Super Nintendo game, smash bros with awesome, warcraft3, diablo2, crazy sketches in history, tetris for hours, pokey sticks at midnight, cookout runs, Harris Teeter runs, Krispy Kreme runs, thursday nights working on physics and bitching about it,  Carowinds scaring me out of my WITS, not going to class, tearing apart a roast chicken with monkeyboy, cooking (they were experiments for the most part...) ....

and that's all i can think of for now, i will probably edit later.

i'm in seattle. its boring. i want to go back to Charlotte... or just not here. anywhere but this drizzle.... *sigH*

So. my mother has changed my summer plans due to her overzealous personailty.  ALSO. she has decided that nothing i plan is good enough, so she MUST change it, thereby fucking up my life.

1st of all
she told me i would be flying back just to go to nationals and not home at all.

2nd
she told me not to go to nationals

3rd
told me that i should be home longer and not go to nationals

4th
telling me i should fly before the 20th. and i said alright ... between 17th and 20th is ideal

5th
she books a ticket forthe 16th and then asks me if that's ok.

6th
i guess i'm ok. then she tells me i can't bring any of my crap back from home. and this includes my bass. which i haven't played in 2 years and i am definately not ok with that... but i guess i'm going tohave to deal.

7th
wanted to buy me a round trip ticket. and i told her why the hell should she? i'm not sure when i'm flying back to seattle.

8th
decides i should fly out of portland instead.

9th
decides i should have a one way ticket

10th
changes the time i fly out

11th
wants to know when i'm flying back over christmas and i said WHAT?!?!

12th
tells me i should start work a week early and i told her i wouldn't be there.

13th
tells me i need more time to see the doctors

14th.
decides i only need to see one doctor, thereby negating ALL point of going home so goddamn early and missing 3 of my team practices.

15th
doesn't understand how frustrated i am and keeps rubbing it in.

16th
keeps doign 15

17th
and still doing 15 2 hours later

18th
calls me back and starts again

19th
decides she forgot everythign we previously talked about.

20th
repeat....


at least i have someone to keep me sane sometimes.

thanks for all the response on that last post, both on and off deviantart.  My mother was also quite angry about it, and other things...

anyway.

what happens when you love so deep so fast you feel like your emotions are out of control?  i think i'm just going for a ride... letting my emotions be a wave and i'm just surfing it.  well maybe it's not love i don't know. but i like it.

Alright, i realize that if i write now i'm being rather prolific. at least as the pattern goes, i usually have nothing to say for a month and then i'll post something short.  Well u're getting two long posts in a week? what is up with that?! heh. anyway. so here's what i have to say.

This is a rather political piece so i don't know if you want to continue unless u're interested in this kind fo thing.

So i never read the news, unless something big has ahppened and everyone's talking about it.  It is a flaw of being stuck at college when i'm too poor to buy newspaper or too lazy to grab one for free.  Let alone having the time to read it.

Cyrus had the courtesy to ask me what i thought about the china-japan relations the past couple of days.  So let me try and brief you.

The United Nation has 5 permanent seats in the UN security council.  5 more are on a rotating  schedule.  of former 5 countries, US, UK, France, China and Russia i believe are its members. i am nto sure about russia, it may be someone else.  anyway.  Japan has petitioned for a seat in the security council. which i would assume to be a permanent seat, or maybe not... either way, it would compromise the chinese power in international affairs.

There's the one strike

Chinese people don't really forget.  They don't forget the wrongs that have been done against their country.  They are a proud people.  And i can't say that enough.  The Rape of Nanking and some other war time atrocities done by the Japanese against the Chinese in the 1800s and 1900s
never really left the chinese.   the rape of nanking during ww2 where 360,000 thousand were massacred, and over 80,000 women and girls were raped and multilated... the horrors of which would not be suitable to repeat on a place where anyone under the age of 18 can go.  And even then, some of the things that happend, you don't ever really wanna know.  There are many internet sources that adaquately cover this, and then some more that you don't want to know.  So i suggest looking that up.

second strike.

Lastly, the japanese governemnt had recently approved of a history textbook.  Now, there's nothing wrong with history, and there's nothing wrong with having the government approve one for use in its schools.  but there is one if hte history book blocks out all war time atrocities done against the chinese.  so these kids are brainwashed into thinking that their country has a flawless human rights history.  bull fucking shit.  no country is that way. not even the US.  and even if it's whitewashed. how do u whitewash the massacre of a city.  it's like saying the nazis just put the jews in a camp and threw them a party. wtf?

third strike.

so then china's political government has issued a policy.  Everyone in china has now acted ahead of the enactment of policy and rioted.  Kicking japanese made cars, throwing bottles through japanese stores... etc.  beating up japanese people. the anti japanese sentiment is high.

and personally, even if i don't agree with reacting violently to the recent events, i would still be pissed.  I think that if china has decided to not apologize for its actions, it is because the japanese have not adaquately shown it really is sorry.  Then again, when u decide to throw things out in history books.  it always offends someone.   

yeah on that note, who the hell knows about the sino-japanese wars that started way before anyone in the west considered the start of WW2?  yeah that's right.
